Many cat lovers often said that their feline pets talked with them. They believe cats can tell them what they want to be provided, how they feel, etc. Next I will talk about if the meows and trills from cats can be considered to your cat’s communications with you.
Of course cats cannot communicate vocally like what human do. Like other animals, they have not developed language. So it is impossible for them to question, debate or describe. However, cats do have extraordinary powers to tell you what they want by using their vocal skills.
The vocal ability of pet cats is greater than most animals, as it gives out its range of sounds from two distinct vocabularies. When compared with other felines, a cat grows from a defensive kitten to an independent adult and their vocal sounds changes accordingly. But when it comes to human companions domestic cats, they remain very dependent and always view their owners as mothers. A modified variety of their sounds may means that they want to get fed or draw attention.
As we all know, certain breeds of cats talk more than others. Many Siamese cat owners express that their pet always holds a long conversation with them with its voice to indicate varied meanings.
Just as cats use body language to express their feelings, they use their voice to communicate with others too. But humans are not clever enough to understand these body messages. Normally the tail indicates acceptance, fear, annoyance, contentment, and warnings. The ears often indicate the signal of warnings of annoyance.
Nevertheless, the voice has been considered to be the most effective way to tell the meanings of the cat. When your cat wants to tell you something, you can never understand it correctly by only looking at its body language.
