In surprising story American law enforcement officials were favored by an 8-month-old kitten in order to catch the illegal practices of a fake vet.
Authorities first paid attention to the illicit practices by a complaint from a cat owner, whose dog died because of a botched operation by a fake vet.
The fake vet made house calls and started the surgeries in a location unknown to his customers, which made the cat owner suspicious about this.
In the phone call the vet told the owner was about to die, then the vet agreed to drive the poor dog back home.
Upon arrival the owner has a carefully check about his dog, nothing special except an open abdominal wound and a bloody nose. Later the bloody nose was diagnosed to because of the absence of a protective collar to prevent access to the wound.
Finally the owner agreed to neuter the kitten for $135 cash. And the vet left the house with the cash. Subsequently a price list offering vaccinations and other procedures including standard prices were discovered.
The fake vet finally was arrested due to his a great deal of money cheat from lots of cat owners.
