The Association of Animal Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) has made a statement on a cat food label, which proves that the food provides complete and balanced nutrition for puppies or kittens
pregnant or nursing pets, adult pets, or all life stages. But as far as I am concerned, cats need different diets in different life stages just like what humans do.
When your cat is just a small kitten, she may need higher amounts of nutrition. As she grows up, she needs a lower amounts of nutrition to avoid overweight as it’s good time for shaping her body during this period. When she steps into the middle age, she may not need the high levels of nutrition anymore, because such high nutrition may lead to illnesses such as hyperglycemia. Their diets need to be added some new nutrition in different life stages, and you should communicate with them with different ways as their inside emotions tend to change as time passes by.
