Emily (a cat) got the opportunity to accumulate some Air-Miles last month when she hid herself along a transatlantic boat ride to France. The Continental Airlines have agreed to fly Emily back to America.
Continental was one of those who are willing to help Emily. The one year-old tabby remained missing from her home in late September. Workers at a laminating company in Nancy, France, discovered her to be thin and thirsty in a container of paper bales.
Investigation demonstrates the most possibilities for the international adventure. It starts with a hunt over the distribution centre of a local paper company in Appleton. Emily found her way into the paper bales during a sleep when the bales were put in a container and taken back to Chicago. Then they transported by boat to Belgium and then to France.
Fortunately Emily was wearing tags with herself. French authorities usually put unidentified animals to sleep, but the tags contribute her to be found by her vet.
She is expected to return home with plentiful time before Christmas.
